Loitering

Another letter from a shareholder we would like to share with you, our readers.

I saw a new letter from management, most likely as per board’s order, posted at the doorman station.
I did not know whether to laugh or cry because it felt like I’m back in Russia with its dictatorship. Now the management and the board regulate where the residents should sit or stand in the building and who they may or not may to talk to. After almost 20 years living in the building I did not know that friendly communication with doormen are now being considered as loitering. Absolute absurd and not planning to obey! I just wonder what will be coming next.

Parking matters (2)

We have received several comments to our last post. Shareholders support our attention to this issue. Here is one of the letters:
I absolutely agree that the board has made it very convenient for themselves to manipulate with the parking spots by removing the waiting lists. Now the shareholders who are in need for parking are being kept in the dark and have no idea if the line is moving at all. We have the entire building covered with all kind of letters from the management and the board, but not with the very important one as parking lists. How can we inforce the board to disclose this info?
We would advise shareholders to reach out to the Board of Directors so they understand the importance of this issue and act on it.

Board of Directors may want to issue governing Parking Rules document that would address all the issues.

Parking matters

Parking process (waiting lists, switch lists, etc.) has always been a responsibility of the management company.

A month ago the new Board has decided that going forward the management office will no longer be responsible for keeping track of parking assignments.  Now the Board members are in charge of distribution of new spaces, waiting lists, etc.

And the whole process is now hidden from all shareholders.

The possibilities for favoritism and corruption are endless as there are no checks and balances as to who is getting parking spots and in which order.

That is completely unacceptable and should be addressed by shareholders who agree.  Please send us your comments to CoopDoctor@gmail.com

Thank you.
