Board of Directors Announcement 10/25/2017

Here are the comments we've received so far:
Many shareholders are complaining that they do not know people who ended up on the Board of Directors. And some shareholders said there were integrity issues with elections, and that quorum did not happen.

Shareholders expressed many concerns at the annual meeting. Why doesn’t the Board report on how they are addressing these concerns? Instead, the Board chooses to report on the results of the work the Board is proposing for the future. So far, they removed parking waiting lists from the lobby boards. Shareholders are now concerned this may result in more mismanagement of the parking spots allocation.

Yes, Board of Directors, please tell the shareholders what specific issues you have already addressed.  Help shareholders know what you are doing, make not only employees accountable, but make yourselves accountable to all shareholders.

The latest notice from the Board regarding every employee to be accountable for their work.  Well, it looks like some employees may feel threatened by the new Board.  Now BOD tells the shareholders not to support the employees who are doing good job for them? If a handyman fixes a stove or a leaking faucet really fast, can he not ask for a good review of his work? BOD even hints that possible litigation is coming. Are they set to fire one or more employees? Why don't they just ask the shareholders directly about the work performed by those employees? And instead of saying that shareholders know nothing about job responsibilities, they should educate the shareholders on the employees’ responsibilities. Educated shareholders will help make the Co-op run better.
